BOISE, Idaho, June 27, 2005 – McCall sports enthusiasts of all ages can win a trip for two to New York City for December’s ESPN Heisman Ceremony and other prominent sporting events including the BCS National Championship at the Rose Bowl, by participating in Idaho’s World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame Fantasy to Reality Football Raffle.

Tickets can be purchased for $5 each (six for $20 or 26 for $100) at Lardo’s Restaurant in McCall, 600 W. Lake Street, or by contacting the Hall of Fame at 208-343-7224 or visiting www.sportshumanitarian.com . The Fantasy to Reality Football Raffle runs through the summer with winners being drawn Aug. 27 at the Optimists Football Jamboree at Bronco Stadium in Boise.

The Humanitarian Hall of Fame annually brings role-model world class athletes to Idaho to recognize their accomplishments. In early June, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Drew Bledsoe, 1936 Olympic runner Louis Zamperini and three-time equestrian Olympian Kathy Kusner were enshrined at the Hall’s 11th annual induction ceremonies in Boise. Since 1994 when President Gerald R. Ford served as its honorary chairman, the Humanitarian Hall of Fame has enshrined 33 world class athletes, and through its Don Simplot Idaho Humanitarian Award recognizes Idahoans whose contributions to sports in the state should not go unnoticed.

Fantasy to Reality Football Raffle prizes include two tickets, travel and accommodations to a number of prominent national sporting events including mid-field seats at this year’s BCS Championship Game in the Rose Bowl, and tickets and airfare to the ESPN Heisman Announcement Ceremony in New York City. Other prizes include tickets, travel, and accommodations to a handful of prominent football match-ups around the country including the Florida-Tennessee game Sept. 17 in Gainesville, the Oklahoma–Texas Christian game Sept. 3 in Norman, a Dallas Cowboys home or away game, and the Bronco–Georgia game Sept. 3 in Atlanta.
